What was Upton Village Combined Authority?
Upton Village Combined Authority is the leading organisation, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of Upton-based groups such as, Upton Community Council, St. John the Baptist Church Group, Upton Highways Team and more. You'll rarely hear about UVCA as its the body working behind the scenes to make sure our Village Groups are running smoothly and as efficiently as possible.
The UVCA united our Village Organisations in 2019 by bringing all of their administrative requirements together, to make managing them easier and create an improved support network, covering the entire village. By replacing the UVCA, we'll be restructuring the way our organisations are managed to improve services and better organise our work. The OneUptonNetwork creates a more united organisation centred around our Village!

Nothing, there will be no changes to any of our Services or Products. By making this change, we'll be able to improve our Services, bringing benefits and improved support to our customers.
What Groups will the OneUptonNetwork Manage?

The OneUptonNetwork will manage groups including: Upton Community Council, St. John the Baptist Church Group, Upton Highways Team, Upton in Bloom, Upton Community Improvement Team, Upton Road Safety & Speed Watch Group, Upton Forestry, Upton Events Team, Upton Defibrillator Project and more. The same people will continue to work on these groups, the only thing that's changing is our Name!
